WORKSHOPS & COURSES
Learning to survive in nature isn’t something you can pick up from a video — it has to be practised, with your own hands, in real conditions. That’s what courses and workshops are for: a structured way to build real bushcraft skills, whether you’re starting from zero or already comfortable in the woods and looking to go further.
Courses, workshops and other events run according to demand. Dates are only set once there’s enough interest or enough expressions of interest for a given topic — so if something below catches your eye, register your interest and let me know. First courses and workshops are planned to start in late summer/autumn 2027.
Locations of workshops and courses: Slovenia, Sweden and other countries.
Living a nomadic life: from 2027 onwards, I will be based in Sweden, and many courses and workshops will move there with me. But some will stay where it all started — in the wildest parts of Slovenia, with the team I’ve been doing bushcraft and survival with for so many years. Gozdovništvo – Bushcraft and Survival School Slovenia (gozdovnistvo.si), which I founded together with my brother Miha, will remain active there with all the main instructors — Jurij and Andrej included — especially during the summer season.
Workshops zoom in on a single skill and go far deeper into it than a multi-day courses have time for. Most run around 6 hours (Clay pots and Fire 3 are the exception — see below). A few, like fire, are split into levels you work through one at a time, building real skill. Others are standalone — pick the one that interests you most.
Multi-day courses are built as a progression, not three unrelated options. Beginners lays the foundation, Intermediate builds on it, and Advanced pushes it to the point of real self-reliance. Each level is designed to prepare you for the next, so you normally move through them in order — but if you already have solid bushcraft experience, you can skip the Beginners course after a short chat about your background.
A handful of one-off expeditions and extreme scenarios that sit outside the regular course ladder. Each has its own format, location and prerequisites.
