MULTI-DAY COURSES
Multi-day courses are built as a progression, not three unrelated options. Beginners lays the foundation, Intermediate builds on it, and Advanced pushes it to the point of real self-reliance
Each level is designed to prepare you for the next, so you normally move through them in order — but if you already have solid bushcraft experience, you can skip the Beginners course after a short chat about your background.
What to bring?
- suitable clothing and footwear
- backpack
- water bottle
- sleeping bag

(3 days)
Beginners course
Your first real hands-on introduction to bushcraft. No prior experience needed — this is where most people start. Over three days you’ll get a proper, guided taste of the core skills: building a fire without a lighter, putting up a shelter, sourcing and treating water, recognising what’s edible around you. You will learn many skills and get basic knowledge about orientation without a compass, reading animal tracks, useful knots, using a knife and other tools safely and well. Everything here is the groundwork the later courses build on.

(3 days)
Intermediate course
This is where things get more real. The majority of skills from the Beginner course are quickly refreshed and perfected for new details. There is a high emphasis on wild plants and foraging, so you will learn how to process and cook what you gather and catch. Calorie intake drops, and so does your mood at times — that’s part of the point. You’ll come out of it with a working relationship with the wild, not just a list of skills. Requires the Beginners course or equivalent experience confirmed beforehand.
(5 days)
Advanced course
The top of the ladder. Five days, minimal gear, testing everything you’ve built up so far under real conditions — sourcing your own water, cooking over fire you made yourself, reading the landscape as you move through it and living off the land. It covers all the topics from workshops plus much more. The emphasis shifts from “can you follow instructions” to “can you handle this on your own.” By the end, that’s exactly what you should be able to do. Requires the Intermediate course and reasonable physical fitness.
